Played in a career-high 37 games, also set career-highs in runs (35), hits (69 | 2nd most hits in single-season program history), doubles (14), home runs (3), RBIs (60 | Most in a single-season), walks (15), stolen bases (13), and average (.454 | T-6th highest in a single-season) ... Went 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles vs. Puget Sound (Feb. 6) ... Tied his career-high with four hits and set a career-high with five RBIs at Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 26) ... Reached base all four times with three hits and a walk and also stole a base vs. Aurora (Mar. 11) ... Reached base four times again vs. Macalester (Mar. 12), and scored three times and drove in two off a pair of doubles ... In a three-game series vs. CMS (Apr. 1-2), Kirkland combined to go 11-for-15 with three doubles, a triple, seven RBIs, and five runs scored, during the series he became one of 22 players to record a game with five or more hits as he went 5-for-6 in game two ... In a non-conference game vs. Lewis & Clark (Apr. 9) he went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, a walk, and tied a career-high with five RBIs ... 2021 (Junior | COVID-19 season)
Played in 14 games, posted 18 hits, hit his first career home run, scored nine times, drove in 11 runs, and hit .305 ... Opened the season with a pair of two-hit games in a doubleheader vs. Saint Katherine (Apr. 2) and hit his first home run ... Went 2-for-4 with two runs and a triple vs. Cal Lutheran (May 1) ... Had a career-high four hits and four RBIs and scored three times vs. Chapman (May 8) ... Ended the season with a 2-for-3 game which included a walk vs. La Verne (May 22).
2020 (Sophomore | COVID-19 season)

Played in 13 games, posted 21 hits, had nine extra-base hits, scored 15 times, walked eight times, hit .420 with a .517 on-base percentage, and a .640 slugging percentage ... Started his Bulldog career with two runs, a hit, and a walk vs. Sul Ross St. (Feb. 7) ... Doubled, scored three times, and walked twice as he reached base four times vs. Linfield (Feb. 7) ... In only his third game, Kirkland had his first three-hit game and doubled twice in a win vs. Whitman (Feb. 8) ... In a three-game series vs. Texas-Dallas (Feb. 14-16), he went 4-for-10 with a double, two triples, and three walks.

Played in 29 games with 17 starts, hit .230, recorded 14 hits, four extra-base hits, drove in eight runs, scored 12 times ... In his collegiate debut he recorded his first career double and RBI vs. Alcorn (Feb. 15) ... Posted his first mult-hit game with another double and RBI at Houston-Victoria (Mar. 6) ...
