The No. 17 University of Redlands women's tennis team battled it out with No. 3 Williams College (MA) on Monday afternoon, but came up short against the two-time defending national champions by a score of 1-8.

The Bulldogs' lone point came at the hands of the No. 2 doubles tandem of juniors Rachael Miller (Newport Beach, CA) and Sara Yoshinaga (Honolulu, HI), who rallied for an 8-5 victory.

Redlands (5-5) looks to rebound on Tuesday at 3 p.m. when it hosts Wellesley College (MA) on Verdieck Courts in a non-conference match.
