TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2025-26 NCAA Division III women's tennis All-American teams with Maegan Deng (Torrance, CA) earning the honor for the third time in her career for the University of Redlands.
To qualify with All-American honors in singles the athlete must be a Top-8 seed in the NCAA Division III National Championships, which Deng was the No. 2 seed, win a round at the NCAA singles championships, finish Top-20 in the final ITA national rankings, where Deng finished No. 17, win the ITA Fall Regional Tournament, or win a first round match at the ITA National Small College Championships.
As mentioned earlier, Deng earns the honor for the second time in singles. She was a singles All-American in 2023-24 and earned the honors in doubles with Olivia Rockwood that same season. She is only the seventh Bulldog to earn All-American honors in multiple seasons. The last was Natalie Etchegaray in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
Deng went 19-3 in singles this season, which is an 86 percent win percentage. She lost only twice during the spring. Her three losses overall came to the No. 14, 15, and 32 ranked players in the country in the final ITA rankings. Her notable wins came over the No. 3, 4, 14, and 29 ranked players in the country. She was a unanimous 1st Team All-SCIAC selection.
She is a junior with one remaining season of eligibility.
