MONTEREY PARK, Calif. – The University of Redlands Swim and Dive teams put together a strong showing at the La Verne Winter Invitational over the weekend with the men's team finishing eighth and the women 13th in the 16-team, three-day meet.

Men

The Bulldogs posted 19 personal bests and 21 season best times, which averaged out to 32 and 35 percent of the total races.

Garrett Krattiger (Helena, MT) had a career meet as he posted five personal best times with four of them ranking inside the Top-10 in program history.

In the 800 Free Relay he swam the lead off leg and posted a time of 1:42.59, a personal best, as the quartet of Krattiger, Ethan Chir (Las Vegas, NV), Davis Wingard (Springfield, OR), and Memphis Gile (Redlands, CA) took 10th.

He helped the 400 Medley Relay take second with a 3:24.64, the third fastest in program history. He was joined by Wingard, Chir, and Gile once again.

In his individual races he took second in the 100 Back and won the 200 Back. His 100 Back time of 49.88 is the second fastest all-time and his 200 Back time of 1:48.10 is a new program record by two hundredths of a second beating the previous record held by Jeff Depew from 2013.
