FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The University of Redlands Track and Field teams sent seven athletes to the Northern Arizona University Tune-Up Friday with four finishing inside the Top-8 of their respective event, which included four season best marks.
Jacob Huset (Tacoma, WA) had a strong showing in the High Jump as he cleared 1.90m/6' 2.75" in two attempts as he finished third.
Corte Peterson (Lafayette, CO) came in seventh in the Pole Vault after clearing 4.45m/14' 7.25" on his second attempt, which was a season best mark.
Ella Bachmeier (Rancho Capistrano, CA) ran a 2:29.78 in the 800m as she finished seventh. Her time is 1.37 seconds off her personal best.
Then in the Shot Put Timony Sherry (Shoreline, WA) finished eighth with a second throw of 11.66m/38' 3.25".
The Bulldogs will send athletes to the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers Meet, Saturday, February 17, in the first outdoor meet of the season, which will be the first competition for many of the athletes in 2024.
