2025 CSC Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District Release
AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Men's Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District teams with three athletes from the University of Redlands earning accolades.
Selected student-athletes are recognized as the top performers in the nation for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Athletes only qualified if they finished inside the top-50 in an individual event within their region.
Jaiden Coleman (Las Vegas, NV), Tyler Davies (Lake Forest, CA), and Nikolas Sorich (San Jose, CA) from the Track and Field teams earned selections.
Coleman is a first-time selection. He ranked 31st in the 60m indoors and 43rd in the 200m indoors. His 60m time of 7.10 is tied for ninth-fastest in program history. Outdoors he ranked 48th in the 200m. He is a sophomore and is majoring in Accounting and plans to travel upon graduation.
Davies is also a first-time selection. He ranked fourth indoors in the Shot Put (14.76m) and 14th in the Weight Throw (13.19m). His Shot Put mark is the program record, and his weight throw is second. Outdoors he was fifth (15.38m) in the Shot Put and 21st in the Hammer. His Shot Put mark is eighth-best and one of only two throwers inside the Top-10 from the 21st century. He is a graduate student pursuing his Master's in Organizational Leadership and plans to attend Medical School after graduation.
Sorich returns to the All-Academic team for the second consecutive year. He scored 3,888 points in the Heptathlon, the fourth-most in the region and sixth-most in program history. He also ranked 48th in the 60m, 36th in the 60m Hurdles, 33rd in the High Jump, 34th in the Pole Vault (3.15m) with the 10th-best mark in program history, and 12th in the Long Jump (6.42m) with the sixth-best mark. Outdoors he ranked 15th in the Decathlon with 5,651 points, 41st in the 110m Hurdles, 25th in the Long Jump, and 35th in the Triple Jump. He just graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
