2025 SCIAC Women's Volleyball Awards Release
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the 2025 All-SCIAC Awards with the University of Redlands' Lily Kautai (San Mateo, CA) earning the program's first All-SCIAC 1st Team selection since Ally Busch in 2019. Kautai was also voted the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year.
Kautai led the Bulldogs this season to a 15-10, 8-8 SCIAC record and a berth into the SCIAC Tournament for the first time since 2009. This season she finished fifth in SCIAC competition in kills per set at 3.06. She was also a key force in the serving game, sitting third in aces per set at 0.44. Her total contributions placed her sixth in points per set at 3.58. Within conference she totaled 193 kills, 16 assists, 28 service aces, 213 digs (3.38 D/S), and nine blocks.
On the season she ranks third in program history with 51 service aces, 22 behind record holder Lizzy Ford from 2006. She is also the lone Bulldog from the 2020's to sit inside the Top 10. Her 298 total kills are sixth-most, 97 behind school record holder Jackie Hamilton from 2009.
