Five Redlands Women's Lacrosse athletes named All-SCIAC

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the 2026 women's lacrosse All-SCIAC awards with five University of Redlands athletes earning the honor. April Bryant (Danville, CA) earned 1st Team honors, while Ruby Czajkowski (Charlotte, NC), Courtney Myers (Gig Harbor, WA), Lizzy Weaver (Tustin, CA), and Emily Webster (Ladera Ranch, CA) made the second team.

The five selections are the most since 2018 when the Bulldogs also had five picks. The four second team selections are the most since 2013. It is also the ninth time, since SCIAC first awarded all-conference selections in 2010, that the Bulldogs have had at least five picks.

Bryant, a second team selection and newcomer of the year last year in 2025, finished the 10-game SCIAC schedule fourth with 24 goals and fifth with 31 draw controls. She also had 28 points and 15 ground balls.

A second teamer last season, Czajkowski was fifth in SCIAC with 13 assists. She added 12 goals for a total of 25 points, third most on the team, and had 18 ground balls, joint most for the Bulldogs.

In goal Myers earns her first selection as one of only three goalkeepers selected to an all-conference team. She finished fifth in goals against average at 11.13. She was also second in saves per game (7.60) and third in save percentage (.458).

Freshman defender Weaver caused 16 turnovers on the season, good for a tie for third most in SCIAC competition. She also had 17 ground balls, tied for third on the team. As a whole, she helped the Bulldogs' defense to the third best scoring defense. They also finished second to the regular season champion Pomona-Pitzer in ground balls and led the conference in successful clear attempts.

A familiar face, Webster, makes it four-for-four with her fourth second team selection. She is only the fourth Bulldog to become a four-time selection and the first since Jacky Craycraft (2011-14). This season she scored 22 goals (7th) and tallied 32 points (7th).

The No. 3 seeded Bulldogs travel to Claremont tonight to face off with No. 2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) in the semifinals of the SCIAC Tournament beginning at 7:00 p.m.
