Jay Wing named PING GCAA All-Region VII

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the 2026 all-region teams with the University of Redlands' Jay Wing (Riverside, CA) earning All-Region VII honors.

Wing is the fourth ranked golfer in the region and the 21st ranked player in the country. He won one event on the season and finished inside the Top-3 on four different occasions during the 2025-26 season.

Last September he won the CA State Intercollegiate when he shot a 198 (64-67-67). His 64 tied the program record for the lowest score and his 67's are tied for 23rd.

Ending the fall season in Texas, Wing shot a 212 (71-70-71) and tied for fifth at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational.

This spring at the CLU Kingsmen Invitational, he was the runner-up with a 142 (71-71). Then at Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament No. 2 in Beaumont, he shot a 148 (74-74) and tied for second.

Wrapping up the regular season, he tied for third at the SCIAC Championships with a 206 (66-69-71), which sealed his place in the NCAA Division III National Championships. His first round 66 is tied for the sixth-lowest in program history. His finish also earned him All-SCIAC 1st Team honors.

Wing plays round one of the NCAA Championships on Tuesday, May 12, in Florida as an individual. He tees off at 8:45 a.m. pacific time.
