LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 2026 All-Region Awards and earning the honor in Region X for the University of Redlands was Adyson Kim (Millbrae, CA), Katlyn Gandara (Whittier, CA), Jenay Scott (Merced, CA), and Brooklyn Bard (Long Beach, CA).
Kim, a first-time selection, makes it as a third baseman on the 1st Team. Through the first NCAA Regional game, Kim is hitting .339 with a .377 on-base percentage (OBP). She also had 40 runs batted in (RBI's, which is second most on the team and 15 extra base hits, which is the third most. Her .960 fielding percentage is the highest on the team among players with at least 100 chances and her eight double plays are second. She was also voted to the All-SCIAC 1st Team.
Also on the 1st Team, and earning her fourth career selection, as a utility/pitcher is Gandara. She leads the Bulldogs in average (.466), OBP (.541), doubles (16), extra base hits (20), and RBI's (52). In the circle she went 19-1 with a 2.23 earned run average (ERA). She added eight complete games, three shutouts, and a save across 125.1 innings. She was also selected as the 2026 SCIAC Player of the Year and 1st Team All-SCIAC.
On the 2nd Team as an outfielder was Scott. This is her first selection of her career. Scott was the second-leading hitter for the Bulldogs with a .457 average. She added 13 extra base hits, 29 RBI's, 40 runs scored, and eight stolen bases. She was also selected 1st Team All-SCIAC.
Joining Scott as an outfielder on the 2nd Team for the first time in her career was Bard. She is hitting .415 with the second highest OBP of .512. She added a team-high 48 runs scored, 26 walks, and 38 stolen bases. She too was a 1st Team All-SCIAC performer.
The Bulldogs continue their NCAA Regional in Iowa after defeating No. 4 seed Dominican University (Illinois) yesterday.
