2025 Baseball Schedule
REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands Baseball team begins their 2025 season on February 7 at The Yard when they start their season with a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) series against Whittier College.
The Bulldogs' season includes 40 games, 28 at home and 12 on the road. The SCIAC schedule is 24 games long with 12 at home and another 12 on the road. All 16 non-conference games will take place at The Yard.
The Poets are the first season-opening SCIAC opponent for the Bulldogs as of 2006. Whittier went 10-14 and finished seventh in conference play last year. They posted a 15-24-1 overall record. After hosting them on February 7, UR play's a doubleheader on the road on the eighth.
On February 11 East Texas Baptist University plays a single game at The Yard. The Tigers went 39-10 with a 4-5 record against SCIAC teams. They lost in the NCAA Super Regional to Pomona-Pitzer.
Luther College plays a three-game series with the Bulldogs from February 14-15. The Norse went 28-16 in 2024.
A day after completing the Luther series Redlands hosts University of Puget Sound on February 16. The Loggers went 18-22 a year ago with a 2-2 record against SCIAC teams.
Then on February 18 the Maroon and Grey have a midweek game with Providence Christian College. The Sea Beggars were 8-30 overall and went 1-6 in games against SCIAC competition last season.
Whitworth University starts a four-game series in Redlands on February 21 and continues through February 23. They won two thirds of their games (28-14) and went 5-1 against SCIAC.
The Bulldogs return to SCIAC play on February 28-March 1 when they play Pomona-Pitzer. Game one is on the road and the doubleheader is at home. The Sagehens finished second in the SCIAC regular season standings at 17-7. They went 37-14 overall and made it to the NCAA Division III National Championships.
Franklin and Marshall College is the final non-conference series of the season. The Bulldogs and Diplomats play from March 8-9. They went 19-20 last season.
The final three out-of-conference games of the season for the Bulldogs are three single games, starting with Dickinson College on March 10. The Red Devils were 28-12 with a strong 20-9 record away from home.
The Bearcats of Willamette University are at The Yard on March 16. They were 29-16 in 2024 with a 2-5 record against SCIAC teams, including a 1-3 record against Pomona-Pitzer in the NCAA Regional.
On March 19 Middlebury College had a great season at 32-13, though, they ultimately lost in the NCAA Regional round.
Returning to SCIAC play, the Bulldogs will host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) on March 21 before going to Claremont for a doubleheader on March 22. The Stags were the third place team in SCIAC at 16-8. Their 32-15 overall record got them to the NCAA Regional where they lost after going 2-2.
Caltech hosts Redlands on March 28 and comes to The Yard on March 29. The Beavers finished in last place with a 1-23 record and a 10-30 overall mark.
April 4-5 the Kingsmen of California Lutheran University (CLU) and the Bulldogs complete a three-game series. CLU went 15-9 and took fourth in SCIAC. Their overall record was 29-16 and concluded in the NCAA Regional with a 1-2 record.
In the middle of April Redlands plays Occidental College from April 11-12. Game one is in Los Angeles and games two and three are in Redlands. Last season the Tigers went 7-17 in SCIAC and 12-28 overall.
The final series of the month of April is against rival Chapman University from April 18-19. The Panthers are at The Yard on the 18th and the Bulldogs are in Orange on the 19th. The Panthers were the first team on the outside looking in for the SCIAC Tournament with a 13-11 record.
University of La Verne will wrap up the regular season on May 2-3. The Leopards won the regular season title at 18-6. They were 30-16-1 overall and made it to the NCAA Super Regional.

- Chapman (23-42): 3-7 during their last ten games with the Panthers.
- La Verne (30-31): Went 1-2 last season. That win snapped a seven-game losing streak.
