REDLANDS, Calif. – Senior Defensive Tackle Aaron Muniz (Fontana, CA) of the University of Redlands Football team was selected by D3football.com as a 3rd Team All-West Region selection announced Wednesday.
Muniz finished the season being named a 1st Team All-SCIAC selection with 31 total tackles, five tackles for a loss (TFL), 2.5 sacks, and a team-high nine quarterback hurries (QBH).
His most productive tackle game was at California Lutheran University (CLU) on October 25 when he posted 10 tackles. In the first meeting with CLU, he had a season-high 2.5 TFL's, which went for a total of 14 yards lost for the Kingsmen.
He had at least one QBH in five of the 10 games this year. Four times he had two QBH and the Bulldogs were 5-0 in games in which he got pressure on the opposing quarterback.
