2026 Baseball Schedule
REDLANDS, Calif. – University of Redlands Head Baseball Coach Aaron Holley announced his 2026 Schedule this week opening up his campaign on February 6 on the road in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) competition against Whittier College.
Following a pair of exhibition games against Cal State Dominguez Hills (January 23 @ 2:00pm) and La Sierra University (January 30 @ 2:00pm) the Bulldogs open the three game series with the Poets in the first of eight SCIAC series, 24 games being played, and 40 total games overall. 19 will occur inside The Yard and another 21 on the road.
Whittier went 17-23 overall and 9-15 in SCIAC finishing in seventh-place in 2025.
Following the Poet series, McMurry University comes to Redlands for a single game on the following Sunday, February 8. The War Hawks were a strong 35-13 last spring. They won the University of La Verne (ULV) Regional with a pair of wins over Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) and one against the host Leopards. They then got swept in two games against Trinity University (Texas) in the NCAA Super Regional.
Redlands' first road trip will be to Tacoma, Washington from February 13-15 as they take on the Loggers of the University of Puget Sound (UPS). UPS went 25-17 in 2025 and lost in the Northwest Conference (NWC) Championship. They were 4-4 against SCIAC opponents Occidental College, University of Redlands, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS).
A non-NCAA opponent comes to The Yard on February 17 in Hope International University (California) playing an early-week single game. The Royals were excellent at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) level, going 48-10 and making it to the NAIA World Series.
After traveling to Washington, the Bulldogs welcome in Whitman College, traveling down from Washington for a three-game set on February 20-21. Whitman went 21-19 overall and 2-2 against SCIAC teams last spring.
Redlands' last big road trip occurs February 27-March 1 when they travel to Arkansas to play Hendrix College for a four-game series. The Warriors were 19-23 in 2025 and ended their season in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship.
The Bulldogs return to SCIAC play against Pomona-Pitzer on March 6-7. The Bulldogs host the first game of the series before going on the road for the doubleheader on Saturday. The Sagehens were tied for second at 16-8 in SCIAC and finished 32-17 overall. They lost to McMurry twice in the ULV Regional.
On March 10 the Bulldogs travel to Cal State San Bernardino (CSUSB) before hosting Westcliff University and Willamette University on March 14-15. All three games will be singles. The Coyotes were 29-21 last spring, the Warriors were 28-20, 9-9 Conf. going 1-1 against SCIAC, and the Bearcats were 15-22 with a 1-6 record against the SCIAC.
In their return to SCIAC play, the Bulldogs plays Claremont-M-S in a three-game set from March 20-21. The Stags tied for second in SCIAC at 16-8 and 35-15 overall. Their season ended in the Endicott College Super Regional.
California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is the next opponent for the Bulldogs from March 27-28. The Beavers were 5-19 finishing in eighth in the final SCIAC standings and went 10-30 overall in 2025.
On April 3-4 Redlands takes on California Lutheran University (CLU). The Kingsmen finished tied for second during SCIAC play at 16-8 and went 27-14 overall.
The Tigers of Occidental College play the Bulldogs in another SCIAC series from April 10-11. The Tigers finished last in SCIAC in 2025 at 3-21, while going 10-30 overall.
In their second-to-last series of the regular season, Redlands takes on Chapman University April 17-18. The Panthers finished in sixth-place within the final conference standings at 10-14. They were 11-28 overall.
The Leopards are the final SCIAC opponent on May 1-2. ULV won the 2025 SCIAC Regular Season and Tournament titles. They ended their season with a 35-11 overall record and 18-6 mark in SCIAC. Their season ended during their home NCAA Regional.
If the Bulldogs qualify, the SCIAC Tournament is set for May 7-10 with the top five teams qualifying.
