CLAREMONT, Calif. – The University of Redlands Track and Field team opened their 2025 outdoor season at the David Salo & Nancy Crenna Collegiate Invitational hosted by Pomona-Pitzer where they saw 31 finishes inside the Top-8.
Men:
The Bulldogs had a great day from their sprinting team. Jaiden Coleman (Las Vegas, NV) took second in the 100m (11.27) and third in the 200m (22.39). Lukas Gamans (Claremont, CA) was fourth in the 100m (11.28), Derek Pangilinan (Rosamond, CA) was fifth in the 100m (11.31), and Jenner Sherman (Eugene, CA) finished eighth in the 100m (11.58).
The 200m runners got a 22.41 time from Jude Holling (Sylmar, CA) and a 22.61 from Patrick Lang II (San Antonio, TX) as the two finished fourth and seventh. Holling also won the 110m Hurdles in 15.22. Lang won the Triple Jump with a first attempt 12.86m (42' 2.25").
Nate Reinhard took third with a 4.25m (13' 11.25") in the Pole Vault thanks to a third height clearance. Cody Bain (Santa Ana, CA) was eighth after clearing 3.80m (12' 5.5") on his first attempt at his first height.
Cameron Kisob (Burbank, CA) posted a 6.15m (20' 2.25") attempt on his third try, which helped him finish sixth in the Long Jump.
The throwers were led by Tyler Davies (Lake Forest, CA) who won the Shot Put with a 14.21m (46' 7.5"). Wyatt Gibson (San Jose, CA) threw 13.83m (45' 4.5") and took fourth. In the discus Odis Hamer was the runner up with a 40.34m (132' 4") throw. The other Top-8 finisher came in the Hammer when Christian Ferguson (Chula Vista, CA) finished sixth with a 44.26m (145' 2") throw.
Women:
Much like the men, the women's team sprinters were highly successful. Sabrina Semmere (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) ran a 12.54 in the 100m as she was the runner-up. Maigan Adams (Los Angeles, CA) split time with jumping and took advantage with a third place finish in the 100m (12.72), she also finished second in the Long Jump (5.45m, 17' 10.75"). Sabrina Tanouye (Elkhart Lake, WI) had two Top-8 finishes, coming in sixth in the 100m (12.94) and third in the 200m (26.70). Faith Kasper (Menifee, CA) added a fifth place finish in the 200m (26.89). In the hurdles Gift James (Fontana, CA) ran an 18.06 in the 100m Hurdles and finished eighth.
Joining Adams with jumping success is Madison Eaton (Rocklin, CA) who won the High Jump at 1.55m (5' 1"). Christen Wiley (South San Francisco, CA) had a pair of fourth place finishes after jumping 5.25m (17' 2.75") in the Long Jump and 10.75m (35' 3.25") in the Triple Jump. Kiera Lambert (La Mirada, CA) used a second jump 10.10m (33' 1.75") to come in fifth place in the Triple Jump.
The throwers got a runner-up finish from Ellie Mann (Portland, OR) in the Discus (30.76m, 100' 11"), a seventh place finish in the hammer by Chloe Schell (Arcadia, CA) as she posted a 32.25m (105' 10") throw. The third Top-8 finish came from Keegan Sherry (Shoreline, WA) who threw 30.45m (99' 11") in the Javelin.
The Bulldogs' next outdoor meet is Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Quad Cup No. 1 hosted by Caltech on March 1 in Pasadena.
