Results

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The University of Redlands Track and Field teams put together another strong indoor showing at the Northern Arizona University (NAU) Tune-Up Friday as the teams posted 17 Top-10 marks/times and three new program records.

Men

The Bulldog men got program records from Jude Holling (Sylmar, CA) in the 400m, Jacob Huset (Tacoma, WA) in the 60m Hurdles, and Christian Ferguson (Chula Vista, CA) in the Weight Throw.

Holling finished 19th and ran a 50.25, beating the old record set by Nick Burchett from 2019 by 0.76 seconds.

Huset ran an 8.37 and took 10th in the 60m Hurdles. It beats Holling's record from earlier this year by 0.03 seconds.

Ferguson took third in the Weight Throw with a sixth and final attempt of 16.99m (55' 9"). It is a record by more than three meters.

The sprinters had a strong day. Lukas Gamans (Claremont, CA) ran a 7.04, the third fastest in program history, and Jaiden Coleman (Las Vegas, NV) ran a 7.10, the ninth fastest in program history.

Women

The women's team did not set any new records, but Sabrina Semmere (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), Faith Kasper (Menifee, CA), and Mari Evonuk (Sherwood, OR) all posted new Top-3 times/marks.

Semmere took 11th in the 200m and ran a 25.80 for the second fastest time in program history. She is 0.06 seconds off Sydney Harness' record from 2023.

Kasper also took 11th in the 400m. She ran a 59.69, the third fastest in program history.

Evonuk may have had the strongest day with a 1.69m (5' 6.5") jump on her fourth height in the High Jump. That mark is the second best in program history, 0.5" off the record held by Madison Smith from 2015. It is also the 10th best mark at Division III indoors this season.

Ella Bachmeier (Rancho Capistrano, CA) also quietly chipped in a fifth place finish in the 60m Hurdles where she ran an 8.92, the fourth fastest in program history and the 22nd fastest time in Division III.

Next Saturday, March 1 the Bulldogs will be outdoors at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Quad Cup hosted by Caltech in Pasadena at 10 a.m.
