PENFIELD, N.Y. – Aaron Buck (Tualatin, OR) maintained his fourth place standing after completing round three and the first nine holes of the fourth and final round after Thursday competition. He has a 252 (77-68-72-35) through 63 of the 72 holes played.
He had birdies on his opening two holes and after nine he was one under on the day. After a third birdie on No. 10, he was two under before a pair of bogeys across the final seven holes pushed him back to even par on the day.
He opened round four with four pars and a birdie on three before the lack of daylight ended his round with him one under par after nine holes, and even after 63 holes.
Buck sits seven strokes behind the leader from the University of Lynchburg and within six of co-second place golfers. He also has to defend as five opponents are one or two strokes back of him.
The fourth round resumes Friday morning with the team and individual champions being crowned.
