2024-25 WGCA Scholar All-America Release
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the 2024-25 All-American Scholars and earning the honor for the University of Redlands included Jett Legacion (Redlands, CA), Savanah Christenson (Upland, CA), and Kylie McGrath (Renton, WA).
Nominated student-athletes must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, must compete in at least 50 percent of regular season competitive rounds, and they must be of high moral character and in good standing at their school.
The WGCA has awarded scholar All-Americans since 2013-14 and the Bulldogs have had at least three representatives every season.
Legacion ends her career with the Bulldogs making the team in each of her two seasons. At her previous school, California Lutheran University, she earned the honor for the 2021-22 season. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a Public Policy and Spatial Studies minor. She planned to work in GIS and go to Law School. She ended her career eighth in program history in career round average with a 78.567.
Christenson is a first-time Academic All-Scholar after transferring to Redlands last offseason. She is a Political Science and Management double major and a Public Policy minor. She plans to pursue her Master's degree after graduating next year. In her first season she posted a single-round average of 79.652.
As a freshman, McGrath earns the honor for the first time in her career. She is an Engineering major and plans to further her Engineering education after graduating from Redlands. During her first collegiate season she posted a single-round average of 79.4 playing all 25 rounds for the Bulldogs.
