RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – The University of Redlands men's golf team wrapped up their 2026 fall schedule with a second-place finish at The Clash, which was hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at Red Hill Country Club after shooting a 584 (297-287) across Monday and Tuesday.
Round 1 – 4th (297)
Redlands trailed event leader La Sierra University (LSU) by six strokes, while they were within four of second place Willamette University and three of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS).
Himmat Singh (Santa Barbara, CA) shot a one-over 73 as he was in a tie for 11th place, four strokes behind the leader and three outside the top two occupied by three different players. On the day he had only three bogeys, only one of which came across his final 13 holes during which he had his two birdies.
Cohen Gladheim (Sherwood, OR) tied for 19th with a 74. He had seven pars, one birdie, and one bogey through nine holes before shooting a two-over 38 on his final nine.
Tying for 27th was Jay Wing (Corona, CA) and Jack Sawarynski (Arvada, CO) with 75's. Wing got off to a hot start with two birdies and two pars on his opening four holes. Three bogeys across six holes during the second half of his round dropped him outside the Top 20.
Sawarynski was three over after nine holes, but birdies on one and four helped him to an even 36 on the back half of his round.
Also, of note, Charles Hageman (Lake Oswego, OR), who shot a 79 and was tied for 53rd, had an eagle on eight as he dropped three strokes off his total on his final two holes.
The Bulldogs also had two individual competitors including Cade Lee (West Linn, OR) and Jesse Pelletier (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). Lee shot lights out matching Singh with an opening 73, posting four birdies, with three coming on the back nine. Pelletier was also impressive to start with a 74 adding two birdies on the back.
Round 2 – 2nd (287)
The Bulldogs' second round 287 is the third-lowest single round of the fall after their first and third rounds at the California State Intercollegiate a month ago. CMS took the win by only three strokes, while Redlands jumped La Sierra and Willamette.
Singh had his best tournament with Redlands, coming in a tie for fourth with a 144 (73-71). During his second round he had two bogeys with three birdies as he was never worse than par on the day.
Wing advanced 16 positions into 11th with a final round 71, giving him a 146 (74-71) across the two days. He began with pars on 11 of his first 13 holes with birdies coming on 10 and 11.
Redlands' third Top 15 finisher was Sawarynski in a tie for 15th. He shot a 148 (75-73). He was even at 36 on the front nine with a one over 37 on the back nine thanks to two birdies.
The fourth-highest finishing Bulldog was Pelletier. He finished tied for 23rd with a 149 (74-75). After four bogeys had him five over par after only five holes, he finished his final 13 holes with no bogeys and two birdies.
The final scorer was Gladheim in a tie for 28th with a 150 (74-76). He sat one under par thanks to three birdies after 12 holes, but a string of bogeys from 13-16 dropped him to four over on the day. Lee dropped 33 spots from Day 1, shooting +8 over (80), which dropped him into a tie for 44th.
Redlands will now have the rest of October through the beginning of February to prepare for the spring portion of their schedule as they will look to make a push for their third NCAA Championship appearance in four seasons.
