MOORPARK, Calif. – The University of Redlands men's golf team opened up the California Lutheran University Kingsmen Invitational Monday with a 307 during round one, which puts them 17 strokes back of the leader Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) but only eight strokes out of second place held by Occidental College.

William Rinehart (Denver, CO) sits in 25th with a 78. He was strong between Holes 1 through Hole 12 where he had six pars and two birdies.
