MOORPARK, Calif. – The University of Redlands men's golf team ended the California Lutheran University (CLU) Kingsmen Invitational in fourth place after shooting a 290, the lowest second round of the day.

The strong final 18 holes moved them up one position into fourth place with a 597 (307-290). They finished six strokes back of event winner Pomona-Pitzer.

Jay Wing moved up to second place with another 71, giving him a 142 for the two-day invite. He birdied three holes with only two bogeys.

Logan Benintend was the biggest mover, advancing up 15 positions into 14th place with a 150 (79-71). He had three birdies with an eagle on hole five.

Cohen Gladheim tied for 29th with a 154 (79-75). He too had an eagle on five and added three birdies.

William Rinehart was 34th with a 155 (78-77). He had back-to-back birdies to end the back nine and start the front, but five bogeys in the middle cost him six strokes.

The Bulldogs get little to no rest as they prepare to fly to Georgia for the Jekyll Island Invitational on March 20-22.
