GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025-26 Men's Basketball Academic All-American teams with Lucas Gordon (San Marcos, CA) of the University of Redlands men's basketball team earning second team honors at the NCAA Division III level.
Gordon, a senior forward, now has three All-American honors this season along being named an All-American by D3hoops.com and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
He is a Business Administration major and after graduation plans to play basketball overseas professionally before starting his own construction company.
During his senior season he averaged 14.3 points per game on 55.9 percent shooting from the field and 31 percent from behind the arc. He also added 261 rebounds, 36 steals, 31 blocks, and 38 assists on the season.
He had 10 double doubles, the 38th most in the nation. His field goal percentage ranked 60th, his 261 total rebounds ranked 25th, and his 3.03 offensive rebounds a game ranked 64th.
He ends his Bulldog career with 104 career blocks, seventh most in program history. His 53.7% career field goal percentage is 10th best and 725 total rebounds are second most.
On the season he collected the hardware being named the SCIAC Player of the Year, 1st Team All-SCIAC, D3Hoops.com Region 10 Player of the Year, 2nd Team All-American (D3hoops.com), 3rd Team All-American (NABC), 1st Team All-District 10 (NABC), 1st Team All-Region 10 (D3Hoops.com), and voted to the Division III All-Star game.
