LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the 2026 women's tennis All-SCIAC awards with Maegan Deng (Torrance, CA) and Lindsey Whelan (Mercer Island, WA) landing on the 1st Team and Maisy Reynoso (El Paso, TX) finding herself on the 2nd Team for the University of Redlands.

Deng is now a three-time 1st Team selection. She went 5-1 as the Bulldogs No. 1 singles player with her lone loss coming at then No. 7 Pomona-Pitzer. She posted wins over No. 1 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps' (CMS) and No. 25 California Institute of Technology (Caltech). In doubles she teamed with Whelan posting a 5-2 record at No. 1. They too had big wins over Claremont-M-S and Caltech.  Deng currently ranks as the No. 10 ranked singles player in Division III and No. 4 in the West Region.  In doubles she and Whelan are ranked No. 18 in the national polls and No. 3 in the West Region.  

Whelan, a first-time All-SCIAC selection, played as the Bulldogs No. 2. Her lone losses were to a pair of Top-10 players from Pomona-Pitzer and CMS.  She ranks No. 18 in the singles within the West Region.  

Reynoso, a first-time All-SCIAC selection, had an even 3-3 record at No. 3 singles and a 1-0 record at No. 1 (Whittier College). She played six doubles matches with Jasmine Sheets (Hesperia, CA) going 4-2 at No. 3 and with Hadley Allaria (Kirkwood, MO) were 1-0 at No. 2.    

Deng, Whelan, Reynoso, and the Bulldogs travel to Claremont to face No. 2 Pomona-Pitzer for a 4:00 p.m. match this afternoon in the SCIAC Tournament Semifinal.
