Stian Asper qualifies for NCAA Cross Country Championships

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Stian Asper (St. Paul, MN) finished ninth at the NCAA Division III West Region Cross Country Championships hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Saturday morning qualifying for the NCAA Division III National Championships.

The men finished 10^th overall with David Huggins (Salem, OR) taking 35^th (26:20.0), Max Schaller (San Diego, CA) in 71^st (27:01.0), and Matthew Farnsworth (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in 92^nd (27:27.9).

The women finished 17^th. Eve Mavy (Thayne, WY) took 58^th (23:55.1) and Kiera Beyer (Beaverton, OR) was 62^nd (24:01.2). They were the only two Bulldogs inside the Top 100.

Asper will head to Spartanburg, South Carolina next Saturday November 22 for his first NCAA Division III National Championship appearance.
