2025-26 All-SCAIC Men's Basketball Awards Release
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the All-SCIAC Awards for men's basketball and being named SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year for the University of Redlands is Eric Bridgeland and his first-year assistants Sean O'Donnell and Jalen Kellams.
The Bulldogs' coaching staff earns the honor after leading them to their second consecutive co-championship in the regular season and their first No. 1 seed in the SCAIC Tournament since 2013.
Redlands went 13-3 in SCAIC play, their third double digit win season in the last four years. That marks the first time in program history reaching that total in that period of time.
During SCIAC play the Bulldogs led the nine-team conference in scoring (91.9), were third in scoring defense (74), and first in scoring margin (17.9). Their first goal percentage (47.0) was third and their field goal percentage defense (45.2) was fifth best
They also finished second in made threes per game (10.3) and total made free throws (229). A strong 3.4 rebound margin was third highest and their patented pressure defense forced a lead-high 18.3 turnovers which led to the best turnover margin of 7.00.
Bridgeland and his staff lead the Bulldogs into the SCIAC Tournament where they play tomorrow evening as the host of No. 4 seed Occidental College at 7 p.m. inside Currier Gymnasium.
