PALM DESERT, Calif. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the 2025-26 NCAA Division III awards with Savanah Christenson (Upland, CA), Chloe Phan (Milpitas, CA), and Jizelle Robledo (Fontana, CA) earning All-West Region honors for the University of Redlands women's golf program.
Christenson had three top finishes during the regular season and ranks as the 55th highest rated player in the country. Her top five finishes included a win at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational in Texas last October when she shot a 145 (72-73). Beginning in February, she tied for third at the West Coast Classic with a 150 (76-74). Her second event win was at the UC Santa Cruz Invite at the end of March when she finished her two rounds with a 146 (72-74). Following the SCIAC Championships she earned herself 2nd Team All-SCIAC recognition.
Phan recorded a pair of top five finishes on the season and is No. 58 in the country. Her first top-five finish was at the West Coast Classic where she shot a 150 (74-76) finishing in a tie for third. Then at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament No. 1 she was tied for fifth with a 151 (72-79).
Robledo's best finish on the season was when she tied for third with a 152 (80-72) at the Hollings Cup in NorCal in the middle of October. She added Top 10 finishes at the Carla Spenkoch Invite (T9th | 155), West Coast Classic (T7th | 152), SCIAC No. 1 (T7th | 152), and Westbrook Village Invitational (T8th |147). She sits at No. 59 in the country. Following the SCIAC Championships she earned 2nd Team All-SCIAC recognition.
This trio and the Bulldogs are playing round one at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championships in Palm Desert beginning Tuesday and Desert Willow Golf Club.
